Sorry for the late backblast. Completely forgot I hadn’t posted it! HighDeductible from Omaha was in attendance for the beatdown.
WARMUP:
Began the day with some arm circles, Michael Phelps, Abe Vagodas, and Copperhead squats.
Next level of the warm-up was suicide variations, starting with just running, then Carioca (not Karaoke I learned – check the Exicon), then backpedal, and finally high skips.
THE THANG:
We then mosied on over to the baseball field to put all of the July challenge Carolina dry docks into practice with a set of handstand push-ups, getting your feet is high on the fence as you can and then we knocked out somewhere between five and eight reps.
Over to the infield, we gathered at home plate and Spider-Man crawled to first base where each packs in turn would do a Cindy row followed by a groiner five times while the rest of the packs did squat hold. We went through two rounds of this.
On to second base where we completed some Apollo Ono’s, and then crawled again to third base for some Daniel Sons IC (crane kick position, and either switch legs, execute a front kick, or if feeling especially capable, a double front kick).
We then picked up. Cindy over at first base, and did an Indian run to the soccer fields with the Cindy in rifle carry position.
At the bleachers, everyone did five Bulgarian split squats on each leg, followed by curtsy squats each leg, and then five pistol squats, with the modification to grab a rail or a bench for balance. Balance. For the interlude it was Squirkins, where one packs does a push-up with his legs being held by the other packs and then the other guy does a squat. CareBear noted these looked like Texas oil donkeys. The original plan was to rinse and repeat, but time was growing short so we moseyed back over to the flag again doing Indian run rifle carry with Cindy.
