THE THANG:
We kicked things off with a 0.5-mile ruck shuffle around the ball fields, getting the lungs burning and the legs warmed for the suffering that was coming.
Then Cindy made her appearance—and she was not in a forgiving mood.
Round two: farmer carry Cindy around the same track. Simple rule: set her down and earn 5 burpees. Before long, Krampus himself took notice. When the burpee count hit 10 between the six PAX, he cranked the misery up a notch.
Enter the rifle carry.
Same lap. Same Cindy. New rule: every drop = 5 burpees EACH. And Cindy… dropped. A lot. Which meant the burpees piled up fast, lungs screaming, arms shaking, and nobody backing down.
By the end, sweat soaked the track, shoulders were cooked, and every HIM knew he’d emptied the tank.
Mission accomplished. We came together in the gloom, embraced the suck, and walked away stronger—physically and mentally.
Krampus was fed. Cindy was conquered. And the PAX proved once again: iron sharpens iron.
