THE THANG:
PAX was split up into 2 teams and placed on opposite sides of the field.

In order to travel to the other side and be “promoted”, PAX had to complete a set corresponding to the level they were on to travel 1 step forward. i.e. if PAX was a pawn they would do one squat and step forward once. Following levels:

Pawn – 1 squat
Bishop – 1 thruster
Knight – 3 alternating side lunges
Rook – 5 merkins
Queen – 5 burpees

PAX worked their way up to queen status and YHC decided to pad the time by seeing if we could come back down, made it halfway through rook level. PAX also took some pretty big steps that looked like jumps. :eyes:

After that due to a queen being worth 12, PAX did some 12 reps of some (not quite 12 exercises) to complete a 12x(not quite) 12 = “gross” workout.

12 – squats
12 – dips
12 – lunges (2 is 1)
12 – curls
12 – apollo ohnos (2 is 1)
12 – SSH (2 is 1)
12 – mountain climbers (4 is 1)

Welcome Briefs and Duracell!

COT:
Briefs- will be leaving in 3 weeks for 2 months for a training. Will be the longest time apart from M since marriage. Prayers for steadfastness for this and preparation for deployment
Paddywhack – friend Adam Fox has had a difficult time healthwise this year, surgeries and several illnesses.
Wrecking Ball – brother Joe (birthday today) has to go to county jail for 60 days in not a place he was expecting. Praying for timeframe to allow him to be at son’s high school graduation. Zoe also birthday today, prayers for continued life.
