Home run derby: 4-5 pitches per batter each pitch has an outcome related to the deck of cards. Strikes/foul/caught ball: batter takes the card
Grounder: both take a card
Hit: defense takes card
Home run (past everyone’s head) : defense takes 2 cards.
The last pitch you run it out.
After we all batted through we split into two teams and played through an “inning”. Whose line is it any rules – and Q even modified those.
Some notable achievements were – Side Car, smashing the first ball past everybody only to be rewarded by us doing monkey humpers in a circle around him while he did some Mary.
Although this Q was intentionally done during summer for sunlight reasons, the sun came on pretty strong at 6 am. The pax, however were undaunted and thought it added to the fun.
